One of VHAN’s newest members, the Children’s Clinic of Nashville, is experiencing success with adolescent well visit engagement by leveraging technology, using reports and implementing a team-based approach.

The new Aetna Medicare Advantage (MA) contract is measured across quality and cost performance, and participation means expanded access to high-value, low-cost care for MA patients across the network. The network’s new agreement with Aetna brings VHAN to three MA contracts, alongside Cigna MA and Humana MA.
Since 2015, VHAN’s multidisciplinary team of pharmacy experts has offered members assistance in improving medication adherence.
The Cigna Collaborative Care initiative is designed for people covered by a Cigna commercial plan or Cigna-HealthSpring Medicare Advantage plan who receive care from clinicians and facilities participating in VHAN.
